First match of the season takes place this weekend, 7 rink triples match which is the opening match that heralds the club's 90th year in existence. A fine day is expected and some good bowling in store. Also two sponors have raised the bar , Peter Winfield has donated a bottle of whiskey towards the Spider ( pre-match bowls attempt by all bowlers to get as close as possible to a target(jack) in the middle of the green ) and Tegan Pounds has donated "a spider" to sit on the target !
